Steve Hassett is a surfer that rips cold waves. In his hometown of Nantucket, MA he is know for riding slushy waves. That’s when the water is so cold it nearly freezes. Thankfully we shot together before the water got too cold.

Hanging out with Anna for a few days was awesome. It was even better to watch her climb. Wow. As you can see from the images we ran into some extreme weather while out there. I’m from Colorado, so I know snow, but even I was surprised how hard it was coming down. That being said, boy did it make for some beautiful images : )

In 2017, Anna Pfaff, alpinist, expedition climber, and nurse who has climbed in some of the most remote alpine terrain in the world, led an all-star crew of female climbers on a month-long expedition to a remote valley deep in India’s Zanskar Range.
