Ford | Bronco | New York

As I was sitting looking out my plane window in seat 15A looking at a bird eye view of New York City, I knew this was going to be a special few days. Every time I fly into New York for a photoshoot something gives me the chills as I look out the window of the plane. Maybe it’s the size of the city. It always surprises me, but I just love that feeling.

A BIG thank you to Outside TV and Ford for having me on this shoot.

Arriving in New York I knew this was going to be a tough shoot. Not in terms of what I do, it’s who was there, that was in my mind a bit. I meet up with athletes all the time and capture them doing what they do, so that’s never really a big deal. But shooting another fellow photographer, that had me a bit nervous. Either way all went great and I had a pleasure meeting a few new people and getting to see lots of my old friends.

Once dates were set and flights were booked it looked like we were going to get rain the whole time. Or more or less most of our time there, the reports sure didn’t look great. However as you all know, rain or shine when it go time, it’s go time. There’s no stopping the Outside TV crew and we love shooting in any type of weather.

Funny thing was as we arrived to our location it was so foggy you really could not see anything, however within an hour or so the fog lightened up and the weather made for some pretty epic scenery. The rock climbing with Jimmy Chin and Maiza Lima was off the hook. It was wet, slippery but that did not stop them. Awesome few days shooting out in New York.
