Where to even start……
It’s been a while since the Outside TV crew has met up for a shoot. As anyone is aware who might be reading this but Covid took over the world and shut everything down. It was a long few months……and I really did miss my friends. I have to say…..it was so nice to be working again and I can’t wait to share some more projects we have been doing.
So this was my first time in Maine…….and boy did I get a tour de Maine. It was an epic state and I just loved it. The people were wonderful, the lobsters were fresh, although I did feel like I was on a boat for the next week even after I was back in Colorado.
I got the call that we would be shooting some rock climbing with Emily Harrington, Adrian Ballinger, and Mark Synnott. I was so pumped to head out and shoot tons of pics, and of course I did. It had been a few months so my trigger finger felt great and my hard drives were all cleared up.
So as soon as we arrived…..I knew this was gonna be a wild shoot. I fly into these just assuming that, that way I’m not thrown off…..we were boat hopping and taking ferries from place to place and it was awesome. I know at some point, I stayed on Hurricane Island….other than that I think I was in Maine the whole time.
On a side note…..It was really cool waking up early morning to get to work and see all the fisherman already plugging away. They were throwing lobster pots in all over the place, it was unlike anything Ive even seen before.
