Running Stock Shoot at Sepulveda Dam

Running Stock Shoot at Sepulveda Dam

April 1, 2009 By Joe Morahan

Sepulveda Dam is a great location for photography and a workout. It was a beautiful afternoon and a few clouds decided to hang out for a while. The dam is located near Burbank, California and is open to the public. I have seen many shoots using this dam from fitness to cars and even extreme sports. I was all alone shooting which is always nice.

A young women stretching before a workout at Sepulveda Dam. She is alone in the middle of all the concrete as the sunsets near Los Angeles, California. The sky is still a deep blue with puffy clouds high above. The solute of the dam is the background and the runner is getting ready to run sprints up it.

Dani sprints up the steep side of the dam. This is a great workout and very challenging and requires extreme attention. Its easy to slip, and fall but a few sprints up this is more than enough. The young women casts a long shadow up the dam shows the hard way up.
