Gear Review: Photo Sport Sling 100 AW

Gear Review: Photo Sport Sling 100 AW

January 23, 2013 By Joe Morahan

This highly specialized bag was truly made for an athlete that also loves photography.  It could also work great for a photographer who loves going into the backcountry with a minimal camera kit.  At just over a pound and a half, this pack is very light and perfect  for all kinds of outdoor adventures, whether you’re climbing a mountain or going for a quick hike.

The Photo Sport Sling 100 AW is a light and comfortable pack holds a standard dSLR with an attached kit lens, and has room for a few small items such as a flash, hiking poles, water bottle or snacks.  My favorite feature is side opening, which allows fast access to your equipment.  Just slide the bag around front, grab your camera and shoot!

For my fellow Coloradans, this bag has a built-in All Weather Cover to protect your gear on those rainy afternoon hikes.  There’s nothing worse than being miles from a car and seeing those rain clouds building up. Just slide the cover over the pack, and your gear will be protected from rain, snow or whatever crazy weather mother nature throws at you!
